Each painting is deeply personal and the range of work I create is varied. Working with multiple layers I explore the materialty of painting to create surfaces rich with aesthetics of time, landscape and memory with each painting slowly evolving into an entirely unique object. Framing is chosen to accentuate the objects sense of wholeness, allowing the edges space to play a role in the completeness of the work.
